Where do sessions take place? Sessions take place in studio or on location, ie your home, office, outdoor setting or venue. 

What are your rates? Every session is as unique as you are, and will have many different variables, such as location, duration, number of people, and number of looks, therefore session rates vary. Typically session fees range from $175 - $250. Each session includes dozens of proofs. Your favourite images are purchased separately. I would be happy to provide you with a custom quote based on what you are looking for.

What should I wear?

Here are a few basic guidelines:

Head Shots: Your look should match the image you want to convey. Solid colours are a good choice, as are tops with strong collars or necklines. Feel free to bring or add a pop of colour such as a tie, scarf, vest or statement necklace. Layering will bring dimension, texture to your images. If you wish to bring a few options, please bring on hangers. You will be photographed from the waist up, but it’s important that you’re put together from head to toe so I can also offer you some pulled-back options.

Family Photos: Consider coordinating with each other. Complimentary colors offer a more natural aesthetic than matchy-matchy outfits, such as all-white-shirts-and-jeans look. If you choose a pattern, have only one of you wear a pattern at a time. Avoid large logos and make sure your outfits are on the same level of of casual or dressy. Consider location, does your outfit make sense with the location? Oh and if you want to bring your dog, absolutely. I’d just ask that you bring a friend or family member along to hang out with your beloved pooch while I get photos of just the humans. And bring some treats to help me get his or her attention

When is the best time for session? If we’re shooting in studio, with controlled light, any time of day works. Outdoor settings offer the best quality of light two hours before sunset, or early to mid-morning. If you require my assistant and I to come to your home or office, I would typically have a few questions about your space and exposure in order to decide a suitable time.

With every session, you will receive an online proofing gallery for viewing, sharing and ordering. Final images are provided in high-resolution digital format for download.
